Mahler the Bahler

Have you seen any of The Mahler Project concerts with La Phil conductor, Gustavo Dudamel?

The event comes to a close this weekend with Mahler’s Symphony No. 9 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Symphony No. 8, “Symphony of a Thousand” at the Shrine Auditorium. The 8th is really using over 1000 musicians and seriously, it looks EPIC. Check out this photo from one of their rehearsals:

Hopefully, you are lucky enough to score tickets for this weekend! But if not, you will have another chance to see the “Symphony of a Thousand” via Live broadcast from Venezuela in Movie Theaters on Feb. 18! Click here for tickets.
